Precious God, we come before you today
Thankful, hopeful, hearts and minds open
In this complex, sometimes complicated world
We look to you for truth, for the way, for life.
In our world of sound bites, misinformation and inequality
we know the deep paradoxes of life and existence
can't be neatly wrapped up in a bow.
We are your people.
We seek to listen when you speak to our hearts
We know it is up to us to absorb you great truths,
and allow you to work out the meaning in our lives.
Please grant us peace and allow your light
to shine through each and every one of us.
And the people said - AMEN!
